HOW IT STARTED.
In 2015, Sydney Tinega Manyange saw a need in his community that he couldn't ignore. He recognized that the less fortunate in his society needed help and he was determined to make a difference. With a heart full of love and empathy, he started an organization that would change many lives forever.Starting small, Sydney bought cookies and gave them to starving children on the streets. He then began donating used clothes to those who didn't have any. As the organization grew, a donation channel was created to receive used clothes, and eventually, small food stuffs were also provided to needy families.Despite these efforts, Sydney felt that giving the street children a one day meal was not enough to truly touch their lives. So, he began to host one orphan at a time. By the end of 2016, the number had grown from 1 to 39.Sydney's selfless act of kindness has touched the lives of many and inspired others to do the same. His organization has become a beacon of hope for those in need, providing love, care, and a sense of belonging to those who may have felt forgotten by society.
~How it's going
Through our transformation, we have witnessed incredible changes in education, food, shelter, and clothing. Despite the challenges brought on by COVID-19, we remain steadfast in our faith and are grateful for God's unwavering presence. Our efforts to build a home for orphans have not been easy, but we are determined to see it through. We have constructed a sturdy structure to accommodate the many children in our care, but there is still much work to be done. Our ultimate goal is to provide a haven for these precious children, complete with a church and school, so that they can receive an education and grow in their faith. No longer will they have to walk over 15 miles to attend school each day. We are committed to seeing this vision come to fruition, and we believe that every orphan deserves a bright future filled with hope and opportunity.
